INTEDURECA project meeting at the headquarters of TMCOMAS

On March 14, three representatives of Argentina’s company Metaliza-Hardfacing visited the facilities of TMCOMAS in Blanes, to work on INTEDURECA project, which started las September 2015.

This is a bilateral research project between Spain and Argentina and has the Spanish participation of TMCOMAS and Eurecat-CTM technology center as well as the Argentine Institute of Steel and the company Metaliza-Hardfacing, representing Argentina.

The main objective of INTEDURECA is to study new technologies and hardfacing materials, in order to prevent corrosion and wear at elevated temperature in mechanical components, machinery and tools on different sectors such as, valving, mining, cement, steel, petrochemical, power generation, plastics and textile, among others.

The INTEDURECA project lasts two years and is funded by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) of Spain and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MINCyT) of Argentina, in the framework of International Technological Cooperation Projects of the IBEROEKA program.
