Turbomachines are critical equipment of different types used in industrial, petrochemical and power generation processes to increase the pressure of a fluid, to displace them or to achieve the movement of a shaft.
Machines equipped with a rotating element, such as an electric motor, impeller, shaft, fan or similar. Rotary machines are made up of a static, fixed part and a mobile, rotating part, which combine to perform the machine’s function. They can be found in the power generation, transport, steel, petrochemical, refining industries.
Machinery with the function of mixing or granulating the flow of a polymer. The extrusion equipment is composed of consumable elements, parts that suffer abrasive and frictional wear over the course of their service life.
Mechanics devices with the purpose of starting, stopping or regulating a flow, whether liquid or gas, by means of a movable component in a conduit. Widely used in the petrochemical, refining sectors.
The wear elements suffer an erosion of the material caused by an action of the surface against a solid. It is a mechanical action attributed to the surface properties of these elements.
