The past 12 and 13 November, TMCOMAS participated in the XI Conference on Laser Materials Processing Technology organized by the AIMEN Technology Centre in O Porrino, Pontevedra.
The head of the production department TMCOMAS, Dr. Raimond Franch, was responsible for exposing the main developments in laser cladding, as well as other services offered by the company, both in terms of precision mechanics, and in the field repair of rotating equipment, thermal spraying, anti-friction bearings, reverse engineering and special welding.
In these days, consolidated at European level as a forum for industry knowledge, there have been major laser applications in the fields of biomedicine, automotive and aerospace and have had the participation of hundreds of experts from 7 countries.
Among the innovations presented in this edition include the incorporation of lasers for manufacturing medical microdevices, cutting edge and engine control systems of industrial processes and additive manufacturing, among others.
