One more year and as a European reference in Laser Cladding technology services, TMCOMAS has been at the Conference on Laser Materials Processing Technology organized by AIMEN Technology Centre in the Galician town of O Porriño, in Pontevedra.
In this 12th edition, held during 29 and 30 September, the head of the technical department and R+D+I, Dr. Jaume Nin, presented the latest developments in Laser Cladding technology that TMCOMAS offers.
As pioneers in this type of hardfacing welding in Spain – in 2009, TMCOMAS was the first Spanish company to install an industrial Laser Cladding – the family company has specialized in this type of last generation technology that improves the life of the pieces by obtaining hardfacing resistant to wear, impact and corrosion.
In addition, thanks to its full service repairs, TMCOMAS also offers the ultimate in precision machining, rotating machinery repair, thermal spray, babbit bearings, reverse engineering and special welding.
During the last years, these conferences organized by AIMEN have been consolidated at European level as the perfect space to present the main innovations offered by the laser application in such diverse fields such as aeronautics, automotive and biomedicine, among others. This edition had count, once again, with the participation of a hundred international professionals.
